Roof of our kiss

you’ve stayed a cornerstone of my heart
the sanest goodbye I ever had –
and a fairytale by the lake

but also, my first heartache

I still keep a daisy you picked for me
but long ago I finished school and stop to wait
for you to walk to me if there’s no other way

the first to thought me how love is to play

you left and I stayed with a roof where we kissed
and lake where we danced and mock the romance –
I walk the ground where my innocence collapsed

I learnt that life was full of sweet words, and no acts
